Never Running Out! | Creativity Character Time Activity

Creativity is: “Finding different ways to see and solve challenges.” This means looking at things in a new way and finding new ways to solve problems.

Supplies Needed:

Several plastic cups
A sink

Fill up one of the cups with water and turn off the tap. Line up the other cups near the sink and pour some of the water into each of the cups until the first cup is empty. This is like trying to be creative on our own; we soon run out of creativity. But when we allow God to work through us, we have His unlimited creativity, which is represented by turning the tap on and letting it run. Fill the first cup back up at the sink and continue to fill up the other cups, refilling the first cup as needed.

Talk About It: We’ve learned how God is creative. You and I are creative too because God made us in His image, but God is so much more creative than we are. When we allow God to work through us, He can give us ideas or solutions we wouldn’t have thought of otherwise. Next time you are faced with a problem, ask God to help you and give you His creativity.
